Hey guys,

I'm sure this has been discussed at length before but considering I'm basically an AR guy at heart there are some things about the AKs that I'm not clear on. I've been informed that a RPK type AK is more accurate than a classic AK design. Why is this? Thanks for your time. Thanks

The RPK has a thicker longer barrel and thicker reciever walls so naturally its going to be more accurate but also heavier.  There are some other differences too including the price.
