Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AKT-98 Stock Set

Hello Everyone,

Does anybody know if an AKT-98 stock set will fit on a stamped receiver rifle? Like a WASR?

I know it won't fit on a Chinese rifle because the receiver is thicker, but what about the others?

It should fit a WASR, though I wounldn't recommend it. The AKT stock sets seemed kinda flimsy to me.

I replaced the stock of my AKT-98 with a Tapco folding stock and it was a perfect fit, though he original stock was difficult to take off so it may be a tight fit. I've got a friend with a WASR-10 I can probably test fit the stock on. As was said, the AKT stock's kinda flimsey for something stronger than .22
