Everyone probably has the little Romy drum pouches - I like them because you can use the drum with the pouch on it ... They are well made for those that don't own some ...

This is a Russian Pouch I believe ... Has a little wooden tag sewn on the strap ... Some of you guys might translate what it says ...

Inside the flap has some markings also ...

The weird lighting is a throwing me off, but the top pouch looks Russian as well. The bottom pouch is actually the earlier version, and is actually for the RPD or PPsh41.

That Romy bag is nice compared to the Chinese. May have to pick one up even though I don't have a Romy drum.

Hey Jug. Is there alot of slop in the top that goes over the tower? I wonder how the Chinese drum for the AR15 would fit. It's considerably taller than the AK models and the Chinese pouch will barely contain it.

No slop at all ... You would never get a chinese drum in it I don't think ...

I'm having to fight to get the Romy drum in it ...

Yes .... Northridge has them for $14.95 + shipping ... Listed as a Romanian Drum pouch ...

They are very well made ... Hope they are Russian ... I'll post some (maybe) better pics tonight ..

ETA: AtLarge ... I have the mag pouch for you ... It was made for some kind of Chinese Machinegun drums and it's fairly large ... Jeepcreep said it would hold a 40 lb Robin ... He made me buy it ...

Let me know if you would like to SEE it ...

anyone have the URL for Northridge?  I can't find them online anywhere.  I have 2 Romy drums and need to get some pouches.  They give a great historic look to AK's.
