My dealer ordered it on the 19th from SOG. I got it on the 23rd and shot it on the 27th. It's amazingly accuracte considering it's crude appearance. I shot Wolf 148gr through it and never formally zeroed the scope. I just shot at stuff and my freind, looking through his rifle's scope, told me where I was hitting. Once we hat it crudely zeroed, we had no problem hitting a 12" plate at about 420 yards with every shot. The plate later fell and we couldn't find it, so we put an 8 or 10 inch square plate up at the same spot and hit it every time until it also rolled down the hill.
My friend pulverized a bowling pin laying in the grass, on it's side, with the bottom facing us at 100 yards, and I popped a couple aerosol cans at 100 yards with single shots.
Appearance is crude. The metal finish is thin and inconsistant and is loaded with rub marks. the wood on the handgaurds is crudely shaped and both the stock and handgaurds are somewhat rough and poorly finished. The buttplate has a spring behind it. Recoil was mild, about the same as my FAL. The magazine is a very tight fit. Not in the mag well, but between the receiver and mag release. It's not hard to snap in, but make sure it actually snaps or it will fall out. At first, it wouldn't feed properly all the time, but later it fed flawlessly, the gun cycles perfectly, and the bolt holdback works perfectly. The machining on the bolt carrier was smooth as was the barrel, gas block, and front sight. The flash hider is welded on somewhat 'crappily' but I might get the rifle refinished and if I do, I'll smooth those welds out beforehand. The bayo lug was neutered and they left the ring from it on the barrel. Might remove that also.
I came with a sling (obviously brand new), PSO-1 with scope cover, owner's book (useless) and a mag.
Gun and scope appear new, but it's hard to tell.
