Is there a noticable difference between HP and FMJ ? I've looked some but no luck finding an answer on the web. Thanks for any info.

No appreciable diff between hp and fmj.  As to weight, sorry bud.  1K 7.62 is 70#, so I'm GUESSING 50#.

I get 36lbs on the bathroom scale,  hollow point still in the box as shipped.
Of course the wife may have tampered with the scale.


ETA:  tried in about 10 times, on and off the scale,  average was 37-38 lbs.

Enough that the UPS guy will ask for help when he has 10 cases on his dolly, topped with two bushy ARs, an 870, and 5 1911's.
