I would like some FMJ. I have seen some criticisms of everything but barnaul, and that seems to be having import problems.

I don't need to stock up, just need a case to feed my tantals???

I asked about this ammo before and was told it was the same quality as the blue box Barnual.
It's FMJ and has a zinc plating on the cases instead of the lacquer coating.

I got 2000 rounds of wolf FMJ for like $203 shipped from the sportsmans guide, after a coupon and club discount. Although, his price on a 1000 round case has gone up $10 since then. Still should be pretty cheap.

I have fired WOLF (polymer coated), BARNAUL, SILVER BEAR (nickle plated BARNAUL), out of my 74 and 74U, and there is no difference....they both fed and extract and made holes in the target........I would go with whatever is cheaper.

5.45 is backordered at SPG last I checked. (a few days ago)

Ammoman.com has Wolf 5.45. Not as cheap as SPG but he has it in stock and all prices are shipped to your door.

It actually was when i ordered as well. I had to wait about a month, but i was waiting on the build from jnewt so i didnt even have a 5.45 rifle yet. Worked out well, but yeah, if you need it now sportsmansguide may not work.

I just order a case yesterday of the HP Wolf from SG $118 shipped and in stock. MY gun eat it up no problem.
