Hello all, I just got home from a gun show in my area, and I'm still unsure If I made the right decision  or not. I decided to pass up an AK 47 made by Vector arms with a Polish kit. This Ak was  in gorgeous shape, it had a wooden stock with a slant muzzle break at the end. The guy was asking $480.00 The only reason I decided not to pick it up was because he had the end of the slant break tack welded, along with the bayonet lug. Should I have jumped on the deal, or did I make the right decision by passing it up?

Underfolder?

I think vector underfolders are going for just over 500, although i have seen them on here a couple times from atlantic for under 500.

No, it is not an underfolder. Regular wooden stock.

A tack welded muzzlebrake? Yuck!

I would've made the same decision.  Don't kick yourself.

*I noticed that your in NY?  The above statement only applies if a threaded barrel and bayonet lug is allowed in your state.

Here are new full stock vectors for $450 www.atlanticfirearms.com/programming/expand.asp?Prodid=9

Dunno what kind of parts kits they used, and you'd have to add on shipping and transfer.

I think for that much i'd build up a SAR-1 and have a factory receiver.
