MAD!!!!!!
$2,000?!?!?!? I saw an ad for real yugo m76s for only 900 dollars three shotgunnews' ago.  ORF's rifles look wonderful, but damn they are NOT worth 2,000 dollars. Only a full fledged pre-ban yugo ak would be worth that. Even the post-89 ban import authentic yugos don't run that high. |

They were twice that ATF reclaimed them and forced the kitting. |

I believe you saw an advertisement for M76 kits for $900, not the weapon itself.
Check the ad again and let us know. |

Its amazing what an issue of SAR can do for the price of a rifle. Added $300-400 dollars to the price of a gun.

If I remember correctly, Yugo rifles were about $1500 from SOG..
BUT, they were all rounded up and confiscated by the ATF. Something about them having full auto receivers.. If you can find one, one of the original Yugo M76 Mitchell imports (legal) goes for about $6K. Only about 100 were imported. Comparing to a $1500-2000 7.62x39 rifle that is much more common is not a good comparison. $2000 is the same basic price that ORF has always wanted. |

Here are two pics of an M-76 from SOG that a customer ordered through InRange of Kodak Tennessee. Troy Sellars noticed something a bit different on the outside, and when he looked inside.....uh-oh.....................
Needless to say, the rifle went straight back to SOG.

Yep, we transferred in some of the SOG rifles........and we had to call the guys to let them know that they were going to have to turn them back in. It was a pretty shitty deal.
The KITS were/are about $900 from SARCO (God I hate dealing with those people). A built rifle for $2K with the accessories is worth it. |
