Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 22 lr conversion kits for AKMS

How well do the 22lr kits shoot, that Ciener produces, in the 7.63 x 39 rifles. I checked the AK 47 archive and did not find any topics about 22lr conversions. Let me here about your experiences.

Depending on cost of the ceiner unit, if you are serious about the .22lr, I would  check out the Romanian .22 trainers that SOG has.  They run about $289 for the whole gun.  The conversions are about $179 or so and probably wouldn't be as reliable.
