I picked up a preban type 56-1
(The only way I can get one in NY )
It's actually a nice piece and appears unfired
and besides paying too much for it . I'm happy .

The problem is that it doesn’t have the box or
the bayonet . After doing a little research
I find that the full stock norincos had a
folding spike bayo , but the underfolders
with the slant brake had a removable one ,
and I cant find one anywhere !!

Polytec stuff is widely available but Norinco
stuff is damn near impossible .

So the question is , does anyone know of a place
that sells the correct bayo or Norinco parts ?

polytech and norinco are the same company with a different name.  polytech parts will fit on a norinco and vice versa.  now if I'm not horribly mistaken you can find old style east german AK47(not AKM) bayonets for fairly low prices that will work with your Type 56-1

Yeah I know , I have an East German bayo that fits
just fine .  But being the anal retentive type I really
want to find the correct brick colored Chinese bayo
for the weapon .
