I just discovered why my POSP scope bulb sux ... It's coming apart !!
I replaced it with one I bought from Kalinka Optics and same deal ... coming apart !! The stupid cap on the bottom is loose on all 3 of them ... Anyone else having a problem ? ... Anyone know where I could buy some better diodes ? Thanks ....

Ok .. I'll post some pic tonight ... These don't have threads where it's coming apart ...
Another ? ... I found some brass 2.5 volt ... Solid brass w/bulb - not diode ... Look to be Soviet issue ... No cool colors like red and blue or green ... Anyone used these ? Will the 3v batteries burn the bulb prematurely ? I can buy these in quantity for around $5.00 ea. ... maybe less Will anyone but me admit to owning a POSP ? ...

I own a POSP.
 Never had a problem with the diode.
