vinyl paint is what your looking for (used to paint the seats on cars)
sandblast the hgs paint with vinyl paint then clearcoat over that will leave a nice finish or you can use spray on bedliner if you use either you need to let it fully dry for few days b4 touchin it tho |

Aren't those tantal handguards kinda rare? Have you thought about selling them and buying some black 74 handguards for it instead? |

I have an extra set of Bulgarian black handguards from an AK74.

I don't think that the upper handguard of a 74 will fit on a Tantal.

A Tantal has a lot of character . the freakishly mismatched furniture is one of things that define it ! enjoy it for what it is! Just wait till you take it to the range!people are bound to ask you what the hell is that. and you can reply something cool you just can't buy from the romanians. thats an expensive kit man! Waste aRomanian on the painted handgaurd thing.just my 2bits.......
