We could float a rumor over there that most of the barrels that DPMS, Colt, , Bushy, use are imported from South America. Its time they feel our pain.

I have dual citizenship, since I own an equal number of both rifles, but with the ban in effect
soon, looks like the ars will take the lead in my house again. |
Bawhahahahahhahahha |

Plus you'd have to pick something they don't know anything about. I'm pretty doubtful anybody would have fallen for that. Most likely you would have become the target of an enormous flame fest. |

IF this is the best the dark side has to offer, we are safe on the right side!
HAHAHAHAHAHA TXL |

So it's kind of like robpiat got saved from being gang banged.
*sigh* Rework your tactics and try again, robpiat. |

Oh don't think we don't keep a list of potential targets already |

more like the weapon for someone who doesnt want the ability to build his own receivers in his own house. |

Oh come on, like the lack of barrels is going to affect the accuracy of those farm tool quality rock chuckers!
My apologies to any farm tool makers on our site... |
Yeah - while your THINKING about how to get that electronic sight to work and to get that dadgum mouse gun unjammed, the enemy with a dreaded AK will come and ventilate you! |
+1 on what he said. |
Until the 6.8 round hits a reasonable price and comes in a gas piston upper...ill be sticking to AKs.
Yes I do own a Bushy AR. |
The best quote I have heard so far..."He had an AR that looked like it had been dragged through the equipment exchange with a crap magnet"
Assuming the ultra reliable AK can actually hit him. What if he's further away than a hundred yards or so??? |
That's after you argue with everyone how Colt is better than the other guy's brand of AR, figure out if the AR has a 5.56mm chamber, has a chrome bore n barrel. What barrel twist you got, whether or not the target is within the fragmentation range. |
I have no fear of anyone with an AK at 100 yards or better. While an AK is a reliable and forgiving rifle, an AR can effectively circumcise you at 250+ yards.
Lob lead all you want...I'll take accuracy and quality over spray and pray any day. Oh yeah...that AK has worked real well for the Iraqii's in GW1 and GWII hasn't it. ETA: +1 Gus, you posted while I typed! |
Poodles everywhere wet their velvet pillows at the sight of your ACOG I'm sure. |
Hell...all you gotta do to mess the AR guys up are ban batteries.......without batteries there guns are worthless
Old Troop, No batteries needed. Old school baby...iron sites work great for me! |
Hey, I resemble that remark! |
Remember, It's not the weapon that matters, but what's ( or who's) behind it................................ |
It all depends on when and where. AK will do just fine for accuracy though, an AR15 would get you 1-2 inch groups, a well made AK will get you 4 inch groups. Your chest is alot bigger than 4 inches wide and a 7.62 will put you down just fine.
hell in that case all you have to do is run about 200 yards and you'll be fine, it'll take about 2 minutes for the AR guys to turn on all their sights and waddle their fat asses into position. even better, get them to chase you on foot after 50 yards you're home free as they slump to the ground exhausted |
how so? do you even own one? |
in the handguard or stock airsoft boy! |

AK...almost crap? Hasn't quite reached the crap level yet, but getting close. AK's are to serious shooters what dixie cups are to golden chalices. |
Damn, I should have opened this thread long ago...lol... The battle has begun...lol...
I like this one
Would you stand as a target at 200 yards with an AK pointed at you. Here is another good one
He is right guys, remember 95% of guys who hang out on the AR side are "serious shooters or operators". You hit the nail on the head dvr9, "AK's are to serious shooters what dixie cups are to golden chalices." That is the best comparison of hard core AR guys to hardcore AK guys I think I have ever seen. AK guys (dixie cuppers) feel fine with a rifle the functions 100% and shoots good enough to serve its purpose (that dixie cup will get you the same sip of water). On the other hand, hardcore AR guys like all the bling (golden chalices) |

Well I like the idea of my AK is still in 1 peice after I shoot it.

Having owned two Bushmasters myself and completely happy to own two AK's these days, FEG milled late fifties vintage 7,62 AK and a Bulgaria Arsenal AKS74 5,45 AK I cannot begin to explain how much I admire the simplicity of this weapons system.....much more fun to shoot as the AR....
Ask an AR shooter, any AR shooter if they want to compete in an accuracy test and they will. For they think they will hand it to you for sure. But add a catch:"you must throw a hand of sand in your action first". I for one have and shot my rifle with the same 2-3" groups it always shoots with Barnaul 7,62 FMJ. I've yet to meet an AR shooter that is willing to do the same and shoot his standard 1.5-2" groups that way. Why...........it will jam, it will result in a fine mixture of sand, CLP, burnt powder residu and carbon in the receiver. The AK will produce the most horrific creaking sound when cocked while sand is in there.. but it will shoot and it wil shoot exactly the same as it did at it was clean. When it absolutely positively has to be destroyed.....Avtomat Kalashnikova....accept no substitute |

Ok enough is enough. I get the point.
You guys go back to your side of the board and talk about hunting dust bunnies in your bedroom with your latest IR laser. |
