Man o man! I'd love to have that beat up, old SVD!
Thanks for your service to our country! All the best! One Rusty Nut. |
Awsome thread, thanks Rusted Ace.
Thank you for the job your doing over there! |
Thats great ...here,your
Those guns look like they've been around the block a few times! Did you confiscate any cleaning kits from the bad guys?
I wonder if the insurgents are surprised at all when they find out that 5.56mm will go right through a flak vest.
Good pics! Do your intel guys know weapons as well as you do?
Spooky |
I dont know about the intel guys but 99% of Marines have no idea what that stuff is, besides that they are guns. |
Moustache lookin good.
Much better than the anemic caterpillar you had going a month or so ago Stay safe man. |
holy frijoles...look at the amount of DUST on these over-worn weapons.
the bad thing is I bet they still work. Stay safe. Good luck. |
I think the homemade RPG is the pinnacle of Islamic technology. If it successfully fires the grenade, you are an insurgent. If it detonates on your shoulder, instant suicide bomber! Either way, you win!
Stay safe over there and thanks for takin' the fight to the bad guys so us old folks don't have to do it here. |
LOL!!!! |

That would be "martyr". |
Thanks for that, Rusted Ace -- I really enjoy your threads and I know those AK guys will be eatin' this up!
You really set a new standard for insurgent boutique! ( oh shit, was that a french word? ) |
Thanks again for the pics and most of all for your service Rusted Ace.
Great pic of a Yugoslavian M65A RPK. I'm gonna pin this for a while! |
Thanks! |
Nice pictures. Is there anyway to get them without your captions?
Yeah, which ones do you want, I have some new pictures of new guns I was gonna post, so tell me which pictures of these you want and I can send them to you, without captions, when I bring a cd of the others here. oh yeah, I will post the pictures in this thread as well, they include a browning 1919 and a soviet 20mm AA gun and I think 30mm grenade launcher, you guys will have to tell me!!! |
Very cool pics!
Anyone notice the .30 cal machine gun with the homemade buttstock and pistol grip attached. Thats wild stuff, can't imagine trying to shoulder that. |
that isnt home made, it is the squad automatic weapon version of the M1919 .30 caliber machine gun known as the M1919A6 model. this one is missing the bipod, and it is meant to be more portable than the standard M1919A2 and tripod combo. |
Wow, learn something new everyday! I thought that was some local Iraqi handiwork.hock.gif |
the 30mm grenade launcher is that like the russian version of our mk19?? ive never seen one.
its their equivalent, known as the AGS-17. pretty cool weapon in my opinion |
Rustedace, Thanks. Tell all your buddies thanks for all they do for us!! We appreciate every one of you guys. And send more pics when you get a chance! |
I like the 14.7 AA gun you found. I'll give you 10 bucks for it right now.
God bless and watch your back... |
I thought I had lost them, glad you recovered my PPSH41 and my Browning Hi-power. Where can I meet you to pick them up?
I believe it is known as the "plamaya" or flame |
Nice I-Ching tattoo, just like Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.
Nice pics.
Other than AK-47's, what are some of the most common weapons that the insurgency uses? |
