I just had it done on the same model rifle you have. I had my local gunsmith do it. Since I haven't picked the rifle up yet, I can only relay to you what he told me.
Hogged out the mag well. Removed spacer. He said he had to remove the trigger guard and move it forward a little. I think that was it. In case you are wondering, price to do it was $45. |

Well I called a local gun shop and they told me it was illegal?!?!!?!?!
