The SAR-1 I bought used in Longview ,WA in 2003 at the GUNSHOP for $300.00 (2000 model) it came with a few  mags ,also the condition of the gun was in great shape ,no canted sights, good crown, gas piston was fine, I jumped on this one, I looked everywhere for an sar-1 at the time and had no luck till then, first thing I did when I  got home was I stripped off the ugly burgundy finish and bought a forward pistol grip and restained it  a ebony finish.


The WASR-10 I bought new in 2002  for $350.00 at the local gunstore, I had the  whole gun redone in a flat black DURE-COAT finish,installed a 74 brake ,and a buffer, no canted sights  , this gun has low miles on it since I  got the sar-1 in 2003 I pretty much put this one in the safe I may consider selling this one down the road.

These are my only guns for now.

I  took some BIRCHWOOD CASEY GUN BLUE REMOVER  let it sit for 2 minutes, wipe it off , then I took some HOPPES  POLISHING COMPOUND and a rag and just buffed the hell out of it. till it was a mirror finish.
