I just got a new toy in the form of a SAR-3 and she just looks like she needs something done with that skinny plane looking barrel...  I threaded my own SAR-1 so I know how the TAP and die kits work... just curious if anybody had some pics and perhaps I will rent Williams kit and just do it....

Also, how do you keep a phantom or vortex from comming loose?  Do you use a crush washer and torque up to the gas block?  Obiously the factory AK spring and detent won't do it!

I'll have one of the new G6A2 suppressor-capable Vortex units shortly. It is going on a 5.56mm build. They are being made for a friendly foreign power.  These are the real deal.    

Here in about a month, hopefully, I'll have a KTR-03V with a Vortex (FN-FAL version).
