What is wrong with Romanians?
I would take 1 Romy. Have ORF refinish it. Add a new stock set and a Krebs sight. Then add the Kobra. It would be a really nice rifle, and you would have plenty of extra left over to buy mags and ammo with. |

I've never owned own but just about every person I know that had one got rid of it. I never really asked why, I've stayed away because of that. |

For $800.00 you can probably buy one of ORF's folding Bulgarian 74s and have enough to buy the Kobra too.

I'd stick with my SAR-1 with redstar trigger, then a Kobra, and a whole bunch of mags and ammo and be a better shooter than everything else out there. I tend to go for function over form though.

An AK by its nature is a BLUNT IMPLEMENT!!!!!!!! Whether you pay 300 or 800 there wont be much difference!!!!!!!

+1... some of you just have to much money to spend it seems! or care more how a rifle looks then how it functions. get a cheap AK and shoot the sh*t out of some cans. its not really good for much else unless its an SHTF rifle or defense rifle. |
