Ok, did a search for several different keywords on this subject. Got one single hit.......

I will need to headspace 7.62 and 5.45 soon, where do I get guages. If someone could provide me dimesions for the guages I could run some on the CNC lathe (I am a CNC operator), our lathes are good for .0001" and I could make them out of 303 stainless.

Our lathes are Cincom B-12's and B-20's, using the Fanuc controller. The milling centers are Brother machines of varios sizes. The company I work for ( www.kagerind.com ) is the parent company of KNS Precision, who makes fine crosshair sight posts for various rifles and also non-rotational trigger pins for the AR/M-16 series.

I am serious about making the guages, if I was provided dimensions and material specs I could write the programs and crank some out in no time. Maybe even get a group buy type thing going if the powers that be approve it. Currently all our lathes are working overtime, but that would give me time to sit down and write the programs so when one opened up, I could get right on it. Anyway, I'll check out that saami site and see what I can dig up.
