 I'd venture to guess that the crimping is being done by the case hitting some part of the weapon after extraction. Perhaps the bolt handle, carrier face, or dust cover? ETA: look for any indication of case impact on those areas... Sly |

wrap a little foam padding around your ejection port...tape it in place temporarily if need be.
i'll bet your spent cases come out looking better or untouched. a little more oil, a little more grease and a slit radiusing of the feed ramp and chamber mouth will cure the ftf's. if unsure of how to perform the ramp/chamber radius polish, let a smith do it. good luck and welcome to the dark side! |
