$588 for a Romanian with a couple of mags and a drum is very high. If money is your main concerne, you may want to hold of a very short time and check out the WASR nobans that should be available any day now, they may even come with the side folder. The WASR's are imported into the country as low cap only rifles and converted by Century into high cap rifles, the SARs were brought in as high cap rifles from the start, but it looks like the SAR series rifles are a thing of the past, none have came in for nearly a year, exixitng stock has all but dried up completely, and there are no more known to be on the way, of coure that could change at a moments notice.
If accuracy is a big issue then you will want to avoid the 7.62X39 guns, with them accuracy will vary between 3.5 inches to 5 inches at a hundred yards, the 5.45 and 5.56 guns are much mor accurate.
The Bulgarians and Arsenal guns are nice, so are the ORF built guns, but they are more expensive than the Romanians, not so much more accurate or more reliable, but better finished, and much prettier. The finish on Romanian rifles has improved greatly compared to a few years ago.
ETA: The Romanian guns normally sell between $289 and $350, mags are about $10 each, and drums are only available for the 7.62 guns.
