Just wanted to give blackjackbuffers a hand for getting me my stuff really quick. It would have been here saturday (ordered wednesday night) but I delayed my own order because I added something before he got the other stuff shipped out. So it shipped friday morning and was at my doorstep at 11am on monday.

Parts were exactly what I was expecting. CAR stock with adapter, a green buffer, and a TDI ergo pistol grip. Very nice stuff. Now my AK is finally an "assault weapon"

Have any of these buffers been known to cause weapon malfunctions?

They'll short stroke in some rifles...

Supposedly they are better about not short stroking than other buffers. I will see how it does thursday or friday when I get a chance to shoot it.

my ssr-56 came with some buffer, and no fail, after about 100 rds, it start acting up misfeeding , so I chunked it, it was some black kind. But its a-ok without it now. I say no to buffers in ak's

I put one in my Polish home build and it functions great, Even with the metal folder it smoothes out the recoil to your cheek.  Every round chambered with out a hitch. I had shot other peoples aks with no buffer and the rifle seemed alittle harsh. When you rack it back you can feel the difference. I thought about not putting one in but now they will be in all of mine.

I put a green Blacjack buffer on my Mak90 and shot 80 rounds thru it sunday. No problem, felt great. I don't hear that metal tink with every shot anymore.

Does it sound a lot different?

I will probably shoot a few hundred through it thursday. I will probably hate that CAR stock. I am used to having a nice long choate dragunov stock with a 1'' rubber recoil pad. But the TDI ergo grip is sweet. Very very nice. I may get a different buttstock though. Maybe one of the longer ACE ar15 stocks or something/

I put a green Blackjack buffer in my SAR1 right after I bought the gun.

It has never caused me a single problem. I like it.

I've got the harder buffer (can't recall the color) in my SAR3.  No maffunctions yet after maybe 500 rounds.  I'd still take it out if the SHTF.  Can't say it's really necessary or prevents any great damage, but it doesn't hurt anything and it's easy enough to take off.
