the rifle is a mak90 and it appears to have rust freckling all over it. the current bid is over $450.

Uhh.....I think that's an Arsenal USA/Global rifle. Not an arsenal Inc. of Nevada. There's a slight difference between the Arsenal USA and Arsenal Inc- Nevada (....like $600 VS $1,100) |

I'm with the rest of the gang...who whats a Red rustbucket when for half the money you can get a Vector made with superior Polish in new condition with the bayo lug!!
This guy should have sold this rifle a year ago...some fool would have paid the $850 then...TIMES HAVE CHANGED!!! Shooters are the big winners not that the ban is dead...those guys who bought all those preban guns as investments (and don't even shoot) with the intention of raping guys like us are going to take the hit now...and I have NO SYMPATHY FOR THEM!!! |

I think you're getting thrown off by the Buy Now price of $850. Notice this gun no reserve. You could still win the gun for $451.00. I'd still rather have the Vector. |

Maks never were a preban gun, and its illegal to put them into post ban configuration, in any case, the value lies in the fact that they are chinese, which, are no longer importable, nor are the parts, so no matter if the ban ended or not, there wont be any more.

You fellows arent understanding what this is, Im afraid. Its a type 56-S that was caught up in the 89 ban, retrofitted with a butthole stock, and re-stamped MAK-90 (Modified Avtomat Kalashnikov) Note the underfolder cuts, and threaded BBL. For $450, it would make a fun toy to tinker with. It isnt your everyday MAK.

We know what it is. It's rusted. Look at the pits. It's not worth the bid. The EE here has had better deals on non rusted guns. |

Lets just hope he opened up that birdcage for a 7.62 projectile otherwise the rust is going to be the least of the buyer's problems.
