For active storage, I like corrosionX, absolutely stops/prevents corrosion on ferrous and aluminum alloys for 2 years.

Longer term storage, I use R.I.G.  10 years in a very himid non-ac Ga. house, no rust.  It works for me.

And, CLP on my goto guns.

Once again Campy speaks words of truth . . .

Most of my toys are stored in my basement. I run a dehumidifier 24/7.  Humidity runs around 35%.  Use a Golden Rod in both of my gun safes too.

Twice a year all weapons are "wiped down" with CLP and a oil patch run thru the bores.  And this if for the weapons that I don't shoot often.  Others are cleaned after and every time I shoot them.

I've spent way to much $$$ to have my babies just rust away . . . . . .

I have a neighbor whose father bought a Richmond Rifle back in the early 50's when Civil War stuff was dirt cheap.

He kept it in a rifle case at his lake house and never cleaned it or oiled it.

It WAS museum quality when he got it, it looks like a dug relic now.  What a waste.  One dollar's worth of grease would have prevented thousands of dollars of damage.

Makes living in AZ nice, practically no humidity. During the summer before monsoon I've seen the humidiy drop to something like 3%. Satic electricity can start fires, lol.

Actually I think it can climb a little here in Tucson in the Monsoons too, but I haven't had  any problems yet.
