Hi, I'm new to AK's and I have done a bit of research on the models... Heard there were some problems with the cant and some trigger problems as well, but $300 sounds tempting... I think this model is a Romanian SAR-1, not sure!... Can you post some feedback about this firearm. Is it worth the price?!...

Thats actually a WASR-10 converted to high cap. The pic looks like it has dimples like a sar1 but the code AKAGUN20 is for a WASR10. Still a decent price though.

Give Ohio Rapidfire a call.  They take WASR's and go over them with a fine tooth comb.  I think they run about $350, but you'll know that there will be no problems with them.

Were all the WSAR-10's imported before the ban was lifted converted? Buddies has a wsar-10 and a lot of times it is a real PITA to get magazine in.

the mag wells were milled out to make the high caps fit, and Ive seen alot of variation from tight to sloppy, and also, drums wont work with the Wasr 10's unless you fit the drum to the gun, which in some cases, leaves the drum with a sloppy fit in other AK's, I had one I fit a drum too, and sold the drum as is, with the gun, for that specific rifle.

And, I had actually considered buying wasr 10s at 179.00 and spending the ten to have them machined and then reselling them at 299.00.

What really ticked me about the CAI machining process, was that they didnt even clean the chips out of the receiver after doing the milling.  cheap, cheap, cheap.
