good deal? i was thnking about an AR15, but i was gonna have to buy the cheapest one out there that wasn't hesse. it would be my first "evil gun", but my family has tons of more traditional guns, how costly is it to mount a scope, does it use standard mounts? also whats the recoil like on the 7.62, i already know it's cheap ammo

i have a scope i just need a mount how much would that cost. and i think it's new, the sights looked fairly straight, also this is a local gun shop so no shipping costs, and i believe proscessing costs are included in that, my dad used to be an FLL before fucking clinton so he may still know some people who would do processing for free, fucking clinton

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.  I've not seen any better price in a shop even for a WASR.  

The "magazine" comment was in response to you saying it had "one thirty round clip".  It's a magazine, not a clip, gun board pet peeve...

Recoil on my Sar-1 is between my 7.62 x 51 Cetme and my old 5.56 Mini-14. I have the Side folder and it will bruise your sholders after a few magazines.

Crappy WSAR-10's sell for $400 here. It sucks. I got lucky and found my MAK90 that had never been fired for $350...it was hanging beside a wsar-10 that was $400 and some other romanian AK that had a fixed folder..it was $450. Mine was in much better shape. It was cheaper because it was on consignment.

As for recoil...I have a choate dragunov stock which has a nice 1'' or so rubber buttpad. I can shoot 2-300 round through it and not feel a thing. Its nice. I also have a pin-on AK74 muzzle break which seems to have cut recoil slightly but more noticably it took muzzle climb away.

I had a scope on my MAK...I hated it. But then again I was using the crappy leapers reciever cover mount. Now I have an ultimak with a bushnell red-dot. I'll have to see how it shoots monday.
