Corrosive Ammo in AKs?

I occasionally shoot corrosive ammo in my SAR, but I usually just go for the Wolf instead.

What ever is cheapest. With most AKs having chromed barrels and chambers, it is actually not that hard on the rifle, like it is with most old milsurps.

yes i have...hell, that chinese crap was all corrosive, back in the day. i last shot the corrosive yugo ammunition in a .30 cal ak about 3 years ago and there is no rust in the rifle.

windex, gi bore cleaner and oil...never a problem in any of my rifles.

If you clean your rifle like I do it probably won't matter. After a day of shooting I clean my gun GOOD. Guess I am just picky I don't know. Definetly doesn't hurt thats for sure,.

As cheap as the non-corrosive Russian stuff is I don't see the point of using the corrosive stuff myself.

I prefer non-corrosive, but don't mind. Just clean properly.
