Man do I need help hinking.gifI've got 3 shipments of mags, ammo and other ak related goodies on the way and just found out my local dealer that was getting a Sar-1 for me now says its a wasr-10! h Other than the usual sar-1 for sale on gunbroker or tiger arms maybe even atlantic firearms who should I go with??

Has anyone had good experiences with any of the above? I've heard stories about the shipping box being really cheezy and causing problems. Plus with the front sight slant problem I really wanted to find one locally here in NC. But I guess i'm going to have to ship it. Btw I did check centerfiresystems and they just have the wasr's now. TIA

Buy a reworked WASR-10 From Rapid Fire. A little more $$ but well worth it!!!

SAR-1s are getting to be a rare commodity. Will be hard to find one new. I would go with the wasr if you're just looking for a good shooter. It should work fine.

I'm in north carolina. Would go with a reworked wasr-10 from ORF, I have one of their fals and like their work, but I'm trying to keep the costs down.

I believe the ones sold by Atlantic Firearms are WASRs modded and refinished by ORF for about $450.

Century has not imported SARs for a while. But if you want to do the work yourself, install a nicer US trigger and KVAR polymer stock, the locaps are a good $200 start compared to the $300 hicaps with suspect Century triggers.
