since you are not really "making a killing" from the rental fee (say $20 with $10 refunded upon return of tool or some such shit), i really don't think the avilas would have much of a problem with you blurbing it in this forum (as opposed to ee forum).

after all, i think most would view this as more of a service to the members than a 'get rich quick' scheme.

all you do is buy the threading kit (the die should last thru at least 25 threading jobs if properly lubricated and used). .

you advertise the 'rental' in here. you say something like...14mm x 1mm left hand ak47 muzzle threading die and arbor for rent. email me at blah blah.com for details. die must be returned in 10 working days (2 weeks).

joe shmoe answers add and sends you $20...along with his return addy and phone number...and maybe a cigar as a tip!

you spend $2-$3 to mail tools to joe shmoe with instructions to used cutting oil and whatever other instructions you feel necessary.

joe returns tools.

you send joe back a ten spot or whatever.

you pocket $5-6 for being a prince of a human being.

time to send the tools back out to the next eager builder.

the avila family owns the board and sets the advertising policies.

the ee is the equipment exchange. this is the forum in which sales, swaps, services, etc. are advertised and moderated by the guys responsible for such things.

i stay away from that place...too much stupidity for me. i keep getting the urge to bitch slap people...heheh!
