What is the best compensator or flash hidder to put on a Romanian SAR1?

I am thinking of getting an AK-74 compensator from K-VAR. Will it work with an SAR1?



Can I thread the barrel myself or do I have to get one of those threaded front sight blocks?

Now does anyone know if there is a tutorial on threading the barrel?
I am guessing that it can't be that tough to do... But I don't want to make a mistake.

Make sure you do not try to shove a 30 cal thru a 22 hole, as it won't buff out.

Muzzle adaptors can be used between the 24mm threads and std SAR bbl.

It also counts to your US/Furrin' parts count.

Memory says ak-103.com and investment grade firearms both make good US-built versions.
