I'm doing PSD work in Iraq and currently we're using AK-47's.  I go to the range tomorrow to zero my weapon.  I believe the range is 25m in length.  I've seen lengthy posts on zeroing the AR-15, but nothing regarding the AK-47.  We're using what appears to be Eastern Block brass cased FMJ ammo.

Any suggestions for what point of aim vs. point of impact?  I think the longest shot I would ever take with this weapon would be 200m.  Most engagements seem to be well under 50m.

I have the issue sight adjustment tool that's part of the issue cleaning kit.

Thanks,

Stony

Most of that 6" drop to 200 after a 100 yd zero comes from 150-200.

Thanks.  It does beg the question, with that trajectory, where does it impact at 25 meters?
