Hi what kind of Ak should i get for around 600-800 dollars, i was looking at a vepr or and bulgarian slr 101's thnks

ORF does great work. I have 3 of their SEAKs built on new Bulgarian AK-74 kits & they look/function great!

You should be able to get one hell of an AK from a custom builder for that money.  I wouldn't pay much over $500 for a VEPR.

Bayonet lug intact (but w/touch of spotweld, easily removed, not needed now that the AWB has sunset) & muzzle brake spotwelded on (again, easily removed & not needed now). When I opened the hardcase I thought I was looking at a military-issue AK-74 taken from someone's arsenal. By far the best AK I've ever owned and definitely my favorite!

What part of Kentucky are you located in? If your in northern Kentucky, hell , anyplace in Kentucky, it's worth the trip to Troy, Ohio to visit Ohio Rapid Fire. From Louisville or Lexington, you can make it in 4 hours. Twenty miles north of Dayton and you can take your pick from $400.00 to $900.00 AK's. Check them out.

Arsenal SAM-7s is the way to go. Should cost about $675.
