OK, I have this muzzle brake on my 7.62 Saiga MK, seems like droping the baffle is part of  the"civilian" package. I am thinking about letting the smith to made and fit new baffle into the muzzle brake, how exactly should the part look like (specs)? Another option is to order the whole new muzzle brake in 7.62 from Krebs Custom, as Tantal does not have the Russian ones in stock right now. What do you think about making the baffle?

And BTW, what is the groove on front bottom of the muzzle brake for?

Thanks,
RB

Your best bet is just get one from AK-USA, they are PERFECT!!

Fitting that baffle is just a waste of time, do yourself a favor and get the closest US made to the real deal and go AK-USA. I love mine...

That notch is probably for Bayo or cleaning rod
