Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost for a reputable firearm builder  to assemble a provided parts kit such as this one?

www.k-var.com/product.asp?0=211&1=214&3=508

So if I were to  purchase the above kit for  $430 or so and get it shipped to either ORF or InRange, whereabouts is the cost to put a receiver in there, assemble it, finish it up with a faux-suppressor, and make sure the stock folds?

Anyone have prior experience in doing this? Does it save any money over just buying one from ORF for $1000?

Just trying to save a little dough .

If your going to have someone build it, just get one from ORF or InRange.  You'll save time and money.

Because of the work involved using all new parts, the build runs around $500.  In Range or ORF are the way to go.

Troy does not last I heard.  You'll have to buy the parts and send it to him.  The main point being, if you want to save any money, you'll have to build it yourself.

Ya'know I can't buy this kind of abuse. Hey JEEP I was going to ship your Krink next week. I think I'll let Hans sleep with it for A WEEK OR TWO.

OOW receiver 90-95.00 (including FFL fees)
KVAR 16inch kit 430.00
trigger guard (not included in kit) 10.00
Gunsmithing (heat treatment, build, refinish, faux suppressor) approx. 500.00
Total: approx 1050.00 for a custom build by ORF/InRange

It's about the same price as purchasing a complete rifle from ORF.

I don't have the funds at the moment for a complete 16inch Krinkov, so I just purchased a OOW receiver recently and when more funds are available, I will purchase a KIT (more funds later), I'll then send it out to be finished. It's a matter of conveinence, if you have the funds, buy a complete gun otherwise like me, I will eventually have ORF or InRange finish mine. You really save the money when you build it yourself, otherwise it's almost the same cost.  Stan
