I have always wanted an underfolder AK style rifle, but could not really afford one.  Who is now making an underfolder now that the ban has expired?

Or... who made post ban fixed underfolder rifles that one could put on a true folder?

What is your definition of expensive?

I would rather pay more, and get a milled receiver like the Arsenal SAS-M7 has than get an AK with a stamped receiver just my personal preference.

Hopefully things will go well in November, and the ban will be gone for good. It is going to take a while for competition to kick in to bring the prices back down. I made the mistake of buying a CETME when they first came out. Granted the quality of the first CETMEs is much better than the ones being sold now, but I am still kicking myself in the ass for paying over $600 for something that is now less than $400. Therefore I am going to wait till the selection gets better, and the prices drop.

Go with Vector.  Their guns are beautiful.  Nice finish like the Global guns, but the ones from Vector actually feed, fire, extract and eject!!  I would caution about ordering from Atlantic-unless you want your gun arriving at your dealer sticking out of the box.

A dealer yesterday quoted me $1100 for an Arsenal underfolder.  I think he said it was going to be called a 'classic'.  He said his cost on it was around $975.  Even if he is BS'ing a little bit on his cost, and I don't really suspect him of that.  that is pricey.
