That is absolutely insane!!!!   Tell them you want your money back, and you will buy one when it comes down in price.  $200?????  Are they smoking crack???  No wonder why their rifles never sell!!!

and another thing they said that the tang ( the long piece of metal where the stock screws in) would have to be cut off in order to use the folder.  Is that really a bad thing??

Man I saw one a couple months back that looked like that and it was like $50-$60 and haven't been able to find it since. I want one for my AK,  but maybe a top or underfolder would be better.

But is it for the AK?

yeah for stamped receivers go check their site

Robarms told me the price will stay the same at $200 and the price of instalation would be $50 because they would have to cut the tang off of the back of the reciever, and and still doesnt include shipping your firearm back and forth to them.  Personally I dont feel like spending $300 on a Stock for my AK and the fact that my $600 AK would have to have parts of it cut just in order to accomadate a folder. YMMV but I will pass on this one

Try ACE, LTD they have adapters to various weapons to mount either collapsing or folding stocks.

Yeah, too pricey.  The Robarm AK niche isn't to create a compact, light rifle....they fail miserably if that's the goal.  This is a heavy, reasonably accurate, well built AK...not something really suited to a folder anyway.

take care,
Tec
