That's a little over a grand for the folding stock version.  $900 for the fixed

From pictures I've seen of demilled and complete MPi-69's. I think if you could get a complete parts kit, and a stamped AK receiver without the rails and any holes drilled in it, you'd probably be in business.



There are no receiver rails as the bolt rides on the lip of the receiver. The holes for the axis pins are higher up, and the front trunion is different. However the trigger guard & rear trunion look like "standard" items.

If my memory is correct, "Stottman" once posted some pics of a kit he was planning on building a clone from.
