Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - just got back from National Gun Day...what a waste of time!

I live in St. Louis, and I planned a little trip to Louisville to go to the National Gun Day gun show.

What a tremendous waste of time! It was like cowboy gun day...unless you wanted to play cowboys and indians, there wasn't much to see....

I found parts I needed for my AR, so at least I got something I needed, but it wasn't much to be thrilled about.

Back to Knob Creek next month...at least that is worth my time.

Just a report to anyone interested...

I gave up on National Gun Day years ago. Sorry you came all the way from St. Louis. See ya at the Creek this fall!

I remember picing up very nice G-43 rifles there for $400 each.  Hakims for $75 etc.  By 5 years ago, it wasn't worth the price of admission.
