Is a thread adapter any good? I want to have a slant break and I can't find anyone in my area that threads barrels. Can I still use a bayonet with the thread adapter on the barrel? Anyone have any advice? Or has anyone ever used one?

Order a 14-1 die and do it yourself.

I guess I might as well stop being a cheap ass when it comes to guns

If you can't find a smith that will thread a barrel in your area, buy a die, or there is a guy that goes by wjm that rents a threading kit(I know he posts over on .dot nutz, but I'm not sure if he peddles his wares here).

There is no point in using an adapter after Monday......

I think I will buy the TAT kit and rent it to people also. I just hope I don't mess up my uber expensive WASR-10
