Grease or Oil ? - AR15.COM

What do you guys use for your AK's or SKS's for lubrication? I would think that with the loose fitting parts a light grease might be the best lubrication for the bolt rails and such. What does anyone else use?

In all seriousness, I follow a routine similar to what Campy posted...

I use wheel bearing grease on the upper and lower rails and bolt/carrier cam. I also grease the recoil spring.

KY all the way... Oh wrong thread... I use Tetra grease for everythiing just about...

I use the grease that comes in those USGI little plastic cups that were meant for the M1 Garand and M14 buttstock cleaning kit. Not because I think it's any great shakes as grease but because I have about 100 of the things laying around.

I've been using FP10 but I was thinking about trying some Tetra grease. I use Tetra grease and Tetra oil on my AR's

What is this Grease and Oil that you speak of?? I've owned an AK for 4 years and your words have no meaning that I understand?

CLP is so simple for all needs.
But bacon smells much better at the range.
Pork fat rules!
