Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Installing gas piston.

I bought a polish stock set off of a member on the board for my Maadi. Now I am playing the US parts game. Anyway I dont want a black pistol grip so I am going to atempt installing a US made piston. I have read some info regarding how to do it. I will probably buy the Arsenal piston available from K-var unless someone can suggest a better idea. Any advice or things to watch out for from any members would be greatly appreciated.

my installation instructions are posted on redstararms website. i hope they are of some assistance to you.

red star arms and k-var both have good gas pistons. either will work just fine.
