If you look close, that is a MAK90 or a MAADI slant cut reciever with a standard european stock........they fit it so there would be no gap between the reciever and the stock.....now it looks droopy.

I have a MAADI and wanted to put a regular stock on it.......this is why I have to wait until I find the correct stock

The original stock is too short and not steep enough to raise the rifle into a comfortable position.......thier usually too short and usually off cantor....I replaced mine with one I made that was longer and was angled enough to put the sites where I needed em.........ya....maybe thats it.

That is a stock for a stamped receiver fitted to a milled receiver....

If you compare a stamped receiver stock to a milled receiver stock you will see that the angle of the cut-out for the upper tang is different.
The lower surface of the tang on the stamped receiver is "straight" while the lower surface of the tang on the milled receiver angles downward.

They obviously didnt go to the trouble to install the correct lower tang that milled receivers are supposed to have. I bet that stock is not secured very well.....

I once saw a milled MAK-90 fitted with a stock for a stamped AK, the end result looked identical to the AK in the picture.
