i doubt that an ar10 magpull (7.62 x 51) is close enough in size to fit on a 7.62x39 ak magazine.

Just use the 5.56mm version. I use them and they work fine.

ar15 5.56 magpuls will work on ak 7.62x39 mags?

Do you have any AR mags? If so, compare them to your AK mags and you will find out why the mag pulls are interchangable. The 7.62x39 round is wider, but it's also pretty short too.

my 556 magpuls fit nice on polish poly mags as well as chinese, hungarian, romanian mags.

I can't speak for the others but for me they're used for faster removal of the magazines from my chest pouch and allow me to hold onto the empty mag after doing a mag change. |
