I wish, I think some might be somewhere, but not any over here in America. But lets all hope the ban dies and some enterprising fella picks up the slack and makes some. Idea to all who have ffl's, start a design and get it ready for sept so I can buy a few then....

Im pretty sure there were never any 5.45 drums made. I have seen some quad stack (60rd?) magazines on the internet though, but we can't get any.

they were developed, but never issued or adopted. the 60 quad-row ak-74 magazine, adopted in the '90's, is available for sale in several european countries, but is post '94 production. the 45 round rpk-74 magazine is available in america in limited numbers and prices that border on extortion.
the ak-74 drum is a pan layout. the cartridges are horizontal under the rifle and rotate in a horizontal movement under the feed tower. |

the drum in 3-7's pic is an ak-74 model. the magazine in the center is the 60-round ak-74 quad-column. the lower magazine is some experimenal 100-round for the ak-47. not the clip at the front that is used for attaching the magazine to the front sight base (iirc, that is where it attached).
