Cool pics! The RPKS is pretty darn nice and the t-hole stock on the WUM1 is pretty interesting...(too bad we didn't get that model, that stock definitely has a 'pistol grip')

Looks like the bottom rifle  does double duty as a reading lamp.

It looks like one of those liittle dogs that came back from the Vet with one of those lamp shades on their neck.

Did you see the description of the Valmet Petra? (The last rifle pictured)

"The weapon misses its magazine."

Is it just me, or is this Galil a .223? Despite its description.

heheh!

That is quite the quote! (but I'd still buy that rifle, dig those handguards too)

Oh my... the front sight base is on backwards on the WUM.

Check it out!

I like the pics though.  Some seem to be mislabeled though.

Curious whether it's just typical Romanian quality control or if it was done in an attempt to make the rifle a 'sporting' version Kalishnikov. The plunger appears operable and the cleaning rod catch has been 'de-milled'. Pehaps a prototype for U.S. export? From what I've read, the Drag type stock that the WUM, CUR and WASRs came with is also marketed in Europe... (for a thumbhole stock, I like it!)

The AMR-69 looks like a modern AMD-65 without the front pistol grip. I'll take one, where's the order form?

Somebody want to explain why you need a 30 round mag for hunting (KM)?

Most of these hunting and sporting AK were made with the German market in mind. Legislation there forbids any military looking rifle, so you would get rifles like the Valmet Petra etc etc.

Thumbhole stocks where/are marketed as dragunov type stocks, more a fashion statement than that it has any functionality.

Personally I found these sporting rifles to be the most boring of the collection.

The Galil made for the Netherlands seems to be .223/5.56 mm indeed. Which would lead to the conclusion some weapons are mislabeled.  In that respect it's a bit of a shame I wasn't able to take pics directly of these weapons on display but had to resort to scanning in the catalogue.
