What do you mean by European? I know aimsurplus has polish mags for $9.99 both synthetic and steel. Cdnn investments has Bulgarian and soviet block mags for $9.99. There is also a guy named ronin45 who was selling 10 romanian 40 rounders for something like $90.

I was looking for Romanian steel mags. Someone used to carry them for $7 or so maybe in quantity?

RPB (www.rpbusa.com) has Chinese mags for $6.95/each - was just at their webpage.
Personally, I like the Chinese mags better - they don't have that stupid ridge on the back. |

Aim doesn't advertise those mags anymore. Only their plastic Polish mags. I have a bunch of NIW Chinese mags but the ribbed just seem more robust and have a different finish on them. My Chinese mags appear to be blued.

What kind do you want 30's or 40's? If it doesnt matter i would try im'ing Ronin45 he was selling romanian 75 round drums for $55 and 10 romanian 40 rounders for around $100. I bought 2 drums, 10 40's and 10 brit ar 15 mags from him he is a good guy to deal with.

I got some grom Wideners yesterday that I had ordered a week or so ago. They were on sale for $6.50 each until 12/20. I think they are back up to $11.50 each, $110.00 for 10.

Wideners can kiss my ass! Totally screwed me. I purchased 5 - 40rnd and 2 - 30 rnd magazines from them. They shipped the 30's - charged me full shipping and cancelled the 40's (skipped the BO all together). Never once told me the 40's were out of stock. Haven't decided yet, but will probably dispute the charge on my CC - just to be 'richard'. I've sent 4 emails and not one response.

I don't know...but the only bad AK mag I have ever had has been a used one. It had a small "punch" type dent in the side. From my experience as long as its new, I would just buy the cheapest I could find, regardless of country of origin.
