I have a krebs custom ak-103 in 7.62 and I'm looking for a second AK but not sure if I want 5.56 or 5.45 what do you guys think? What make too?

This is not meant to hijack but how easily can an AK74 mag be converted to feed 5.56?  Can it even be done?  If so is it a perm. mod?  Do they feed reliably when converted?  Mike, maybe this will help you make your decision.  If it was me I'd go with the 5.45 because it's more authentic.  Good luck.

Definately go with the cartridge the AK was designed for,5.45x39.Its a lethal cartridge,cheap and plentiful.Don't get me wrong,I love the 7.62x39 round but you want something different.I'd also recomend a build from either In Range or Ohio Rapid Fire.
