If the Bulgarians & the Romanians can make an in spec AK receiver surely somebody here in America can. What we really need is somebody to make a quality milled receiver.

Will you be able to use the RPK trunnions with this receiver due to the extra thickness without mods?

only time will tell if these are as good as they are supposed to be JTR8541

All indications are these will be well made, just have to wait and see.

from what I understand, the x-chief designer for Arsenal, Bulgaria supervised this project.

The dies were made in Bulgaria and true to Kalashnikovs design requierments and standards..

The steel is a special steel made in Russia and was bought in Germany (5 tons of it)

All holes are cnc machined to correct dimensions

The whole reciever is heat treated before and after welding in rails..

Most importaint thing mentioned above... The former Chief Designer of Arsenal headed up this project and covered everything from start to finnish... HIS STANDARDS for producing a high end AK reciever... EUROPEAN standards, COMBLOC standards in military weapons production.

I am saving for two of these... 7.62 and a 5.45

I would go with the completed version with trunnions installed ... Global has all the trunnions you need to make a 74 ... Just buy the completed one.. thats what I intend to do

I cant wait ;)
