sd. a friend of mine manufactured spare bolts and firing pins for the daewoo. they are reasonably priced and are the only spares i know of in the usa.
drop me an email if you want to buy them. as far as parts swapping...good luck. very little interchanges (i 'think' the hammer and trigger will interchange on some daewoo models). |

yes, redbone.
bolts and firing pins. iirc, the firing pins are about $35 a pair. mighty cheap insurance against owning an $800-1200 wallhanger. |

what's the barrel length on the DR-200's? I thought they were 16" but I just read they are 18.3". Is that correct?

the bolt counts as a part. the firing pin does not.

Im interested in parts. Can I have more information? What all does he make besides bolts and firing pins? FYI The entire Fire Controll Group is interchangable with an AR15. I have installed a new bushmaster FCG in my DAEWOO and it went in without a hitch. I still have NOT fired the rifle. Also, the cam pin is an AR15 swapable part as is the cotter pin, the extractor, extractor spring, the ejector spring, I think the extractor, but it may be longer now that I think about it... hmm what else... Magazine drop assembly and... ???? Cant think of anything else. Sights are A1 of course. |

Yes the entire fcg is the same as an ar15.
Campy i would be very interested in the parts for the dr200. How much for the bolts? |

think the extractor, but it may be longer now that I think about it...
correct. the daewoo extractor claw is longer than the ar15 claw. if i am not mistaken, my friend redesigned the replacement bolt head to use the ar extractor claw.my bud only has made firing pins and bolt heads so far. i do not remember what a bolt head goes for, but a c-note sticks in my head...and yes, my bud saved another friend's butt already. he had the proverbial $800 wall hanger because of a shattered bolt (lugs broke). these bolts can be opened up to fit a 7.62 x 39 daewoo. shoot me an email and i will send you the info to contact my bud. |
