Ok, heres a question. I got a 7.62 preban Ak and want to build a 5.45 krink kit on it. Can I do it or will the mag dimentions be off?

5.45 mags are a bit longer, but the lengthening should be easy. 7.62 is also a bit wider, but the wobble should not be excessive. Plenty of 5.45 builds have been done on Hesse 7.62 receivers.

Many 5.45 and .223 Krink builds have been done on 7.62 donors.

Speaking of 7.62 preban donors, check this action out:  [WARNING: link to "other site"]

This guy "Sturmgrenadier" has some of the best builds I've ever seen.

So would the mag difference be anything that you would notice to be "slopy" I guess by close inspection with the mag in? I don't want to put alot of money in a build that is going to have a exsesive amount of mag wobble, How is it compaired to a original caliber Ak? (Never mesed with a Ak with a mag in, this is going to be my first Ak), well once I finish it anyways. It gets to the FFL monday....

The good smiths can correct mag well differences.

I have a Krebs AK-74 built on a 7.62 Saiga, and there is barely any wobble at all.

If you get your rifle built by a reputable gunsmith their will be no "mag wobble". They will just shim the mag well for the slimmer 5.45mm mags.

Ok, I'll go ahead with it then. Thinkin I'll talk to ORF about it so I won't have to pay shiping. Does anyone know what they charge for a build if you supply everything? To bad there not open on mondays other wise I'd find out then.
